After climbing 3 flights of stairs, he is puffing, panting and totally out of breath. While he is recuperating with a glass of cold water, he says to his friends ''what to do, I am well past my prime''."

enna pathi solra mathiri irukku!!! (except for the age though :) )

Agree pretty much. I can see it from my lifestyle atleast.. Used to play 3-5 sets of tennis but these days climbing 3 floors is a big task!! Have started seriously thinking abt fitness again.. let me see if i can do something abt it..

On sports as a career option as u said "the financial security" makes a big impact. Our middle class mentality will never allow us.. and in this country where corruption and politics are rampant its a HIGH risk option.
There's long way to go..

Very timely post though..Bharathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01090335450046365805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2413207868821089033.post-65595123281062375012009-08-17T08:07:48.106+02:002009-08-17T08:07:48.106+02:00There definitely is some telepathy happening betwe...There definitely is some telepathy happening between us... Awesome post.. This morning I thought of writing a post on Walking... heard that it is impossible to keep up a routine, just yesterday evening on the phone.. so thought I must write about it.. :) And I see this post!!! :) I have managed to practice a walking routine that works for me and am sure it can for everyone.

Great post and as usual I am for it..but sports as a career.. Am not too sure, how long its going to take our folks to understand... Somewhere in between, the craze for earning more comes in and dishonesty creeps in.. People demand more from their abilities than they can manage and so sport stars wear down faster too.... :(

Ellathukkum lifeline, Honesty nu nenaikaren. Reading a book ( review seekiram varum ) which says: Accept what you can do and what you cannot do. On those lines, I have started thinking seriously.. :)

Good Going Sowmya :)Dew Drophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17937316411452482371noreply@blogger.com
